Transforming forces
While we are here our responsibility is to know who we are and what this life is all about. What is your purpose? What sparks set your soul on fire and leaves a fiery blaze of passion in its wake? What life must you live so that every gesture, every movement, becomes sheer joy?
The meaning of life is so simple, so obvious. And yet we mindlessly search for it. We search outside our home, outside our body, outside our mind, as if the answer wasn't within. As if it was necessary to achieve something greater than ourselves. As if it wasn't so simple as making your bones the only home you need. As if we need more than ourselves, more than to simply discover ourselves. More than to breathe in the universe and fill my lungs with all its humble offerings. My purpose is an infinite path of self discovery. An infinite path of wide-eyed wonder, forever curious of the world and it's passions and myself and mine.
This is my purpose. To live a life as totally as possible where I welcome and accept all that is within me and the world, as it is. To find my eternity in each moment. To live as mindfully and with as much awareness as possible. Awareness is a transforming force. It doesn't bring anything new into the world. It simply makes you aware of the world as it is. Happy with the world as it is. When we are miserable, when are negative, we are often out of touch with the world and ourselves. With the reality of the moment. We forget the conditions for our happiness are already sufficient. All we need to do is be in the present moment and we can touch them. Happiness is wherever I am, as long as I am free. And I am free as long as I am aware. For when you are aware and you feel doubt, anxiety, negativity, you have the power to work with these feelings, to exhale them from your mind and body purposefully. When you are unaware and you feel doubt, anxiety, negativity, you work against these feelings without knowing WHY they are felt or WHY they are there and often end up inhaling that further which you seek to rid yourself of. You become doubtful of your doubt, anxious about your anxiety, negative towards your negativity. Being unaware creates a double-edged sword of sorts. You encourage that which you do not want, not understanding what it is you do want. When you are aware all that is bad dissolves in your life and all that is good blossoms. When you are aware you find out what is right and what is wrong for you. When you are aware you know you are strong but could be stronger. With awareness you live as purposefully as you can. You accept the reality of this moment and do with it what you can but do not wait for the next. You are unconcerned with anything but the present moment. You allow yourself to feel and be connected with the present moment. This is what it means to live as totally as possible. When you are aware your life has the ability to be what you make of it. A successful life is not found in its number of winnings. A successful life is found in the desire, in the purity of your determination, and intensity and passion that you put into your one life, into your one being.
While you are here it is your responsibility to know who you are and what this life is about. Ask yourself these questions and have the courage to build your life around the answer.Whatever you must do, do it with awareness and welcome all that deepens your awareness, into your life.
